The title alludes to the central theme of the exhibition, the three fountains which Ammannati built commisioned  by  Cosimo I De Medici : one covering the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, one located in piazza della Signoria, the last one for the garden of the Villa Medici at Castello.
